The design of this handwoven silk scarf is inspired by the classic, distinctive Bauhaus style. This scarf is crafted on a handloom using an intricate doublé weaving technique. I designed and wove this scarf, drawing inspiration from the colors and patterns of the Bauhaus weaving workshop in Weimar. A wide variety of colors have been used, making the scarf very easy to coordinate with other items. My rule of thumb is: if one color in the weave matches your outfit, the scarf will harmonize beautifully with what you’re wearing. For care, I recommend hand washing at 30° Celsius with a mild detergent.
